I have been with GoDaddy since 2011. For 4 years I have really had no complaints. My website experienced no downtime and the performance of my website which uses Wordpress was more than acceptable. I did have a problem a month ago regarding restoring a number of our sql server databases.
The first one took almost 2 weeks to get fixed. The other one was a week and the backups they supplied initially didn't work. The help on restoring the tables was slow in coming and took several emails before I got any answers.
I would still recommend GoDaddy as I have used other web hosts (which will remain nameless) and have had far more problems.
