Review Detail

Here's an explanation of my 'negatives' for GoDaddy -

1. Coupons and discounts - we were bombarded with emails constantly offering discounts for one thing or another - yes, those things that should be part of a well priced package to start with.  Designed to make  you think you are getting a bargain, and luring you to sign up for more things you don't need.

2. Way too many confusing options for domain name and account managing.  Don't get bamboozled into locking anything up so that it won't get stolen!  You'll get it locked up and then have to jump through hoops to try and get it unlocked so that you can quit GoDaddy.  Just navigating their backend left me feeling like a rat in a maze.

3. GoDaddy Girls -- well to be honest the whole GoDaddy image!  Tacky! Commercials that only an adolescent teen would find appealing.  Think long and hard about whether this is the kind of image you want to put your company's money behind.  It seems to me that rather than making commercials full of childish sexual innuendo's the company would be better suited to concentrate on customer support!
