What about Lasik eye surgery

I'm a working professional, and I'm always involved in some form of physical activity. I'm facing some vision issues. I normally use contact lenses while doing the activities, but sometimes usage of lenses makes me irritated. A few months before, the doctor examined my eyes and mentioned that I was a perfect candidate for Lasik. But I was not much confident to take the risk. He describes in detail the surgery and its pros. Now I'm convinced to proceed with the surgery and found a Lasik eye service that has positive reviews within the area. Before consulting the surgeon. I want to know more about the surgery and its procedures. Please share your thoughts regarding this.
