Reply: HelloFresh gel packs biodegradable?

Yes the gel packs provided by HelloFresh are biodegradable. You can add them to your compost. Pretty much all the packaging is recyclable except for the plastic wrapping for the food.

This is pretty much the case for all of the popular meal kit services.

I know the box for the meals is but are the hellofresh gel packs biodegradable? Can I add it to my compost outside or is it something I have to throw in the garbage? (I hope not!!)
