The womens athletic clothing store Fabletics was launched in the United States in October of 2013 by TechStyle Fashion Group (then called JustFab Inc.). In just 2 years this online athletic clothing retailer had expanded to Canada and Australia, and had over 1 million orders shipped. In late 2015 Fabeltics also opened several brick-and-mortar retail stores to serve their expanding customer base.
Fabletics was co-fonded by Kate Hudson who saw a market for stylish activewear that is high quality and sold at a reasonable price. Every month Kate selects her favorite stylish outfits for Yoga, Workout, Running, and Leisure. Customers on Fabeletics.com can either order clothing and accessories at regular prices or join and become a VIP Member to receive deep discounts on all outfits which usually range from 40 to 50 percent off regular prices.
Navigating Fabletics.com
When you visit Fabeltics.com you can search around for a short while before the site asks you to take a short quiz so it can refine the selection of clothes you view to what you are looking for. The "Get Started" quiz asks the following questions:
- Your gender? (males get redirected to FL2, Fabletics sister company for men)
- What your favorite way to sweat is? Possible answers include Yoga, Run, Cycle, Gym, or "I Mix it Up"
- Where do you love to get fit? Answers include Yoga Studio, Outdoors, Gym, Home, and "Depends on the Day"
- What colors are your favorite? Shows 4 combinations of colors
- What is your body type? Choose from Petite, Lean, Curvy, Athletic, or "I'm One of a Kind"
- You then choose your Bottom, Top, size preference along with your sports bra size preference
- You then can enter your Zip Code along with your birthday (optional)
Once completed the quiz will refine your filters so when you view outfits or search for clothing it will include items that have your sizes and colors plus that are designed for the types of activities you enjoy.
Fabletics.com shop is divided into Outfits which includes the main category Yoga, Running, and Gym & Workout, and then by clothing type which includes tops, bottoms, and accessories. Selecting any of these categories from the menu (or one of their subcategories) will take you then to a gallery view of all of the apparel items of that category. If you have not taken the quiz you will see the menu tree of clothing categories on the left of the gallery. If you have already completed the quiz you will be presented with some filter options as well on the left side and top. This allows you to further refine the clothing shown and allow you to sort the clothing shown by price and which items are a best seller. Hovering your mouse cursor over any of the images will also switch the picture to a different view of the clothing item.
Once you click on an item you like you are then brought to the clothing main page which includes multiple pictures of the item which you can also zoom in on. The regular price is display along with the VIP membership discounted price. The features of the clothing are also described and shown using icons and the fabric used is listed along with how to care for it. The fit of the clothing is also described so customers know what to expect. If the clothing belongs to an outfit, then an image and a link to the outfit is available. If you like the item and wish to purchase it you can then select the color you like (if multiple colors available) and size you need along with the quantity and add it to your cart. An outfit's main page is exactly the same as an individual clothing item except it will list all the items that belong to the outfit.
Individual clothing items and outfits may also have customer reviews depending on how popular it is. The rating for the item is displayed with the title of the garment while the full reviews are displayed near the bottom of the page. Customers give 5 start ratings for the item for Design, Comfort, and Quality. Customers also give a description of their experience. For each review the size and color of the clothing the customer purchased is also shown. Customers can also rate how the size they purchased feels on them. For example they can say it is "True to Size", or for example "Feels a full size to small".
Clothing
Fabletics has active wear for women of all sizes who enjoy Yoga, running, cycling, and working out at the gym. Clothing categories include performance, lifestyle, and lounge with the clothes split into Outfits, Tops (including tanks, short sleeve, long sleeve, bras, and jackets), Bottoms (including leggings, capris, pants, shorts, and skirts), and Dresses (includes the all-in-one rompers as well). Clothing comes in a large range of sizes include petite to larger plus sizes.
Fabletics also allows you to view clothes and outfits by collections and trends. Collections include "Kate's Picks", "Dream Catcher", and "Pretty Strong". Popular trends include "Show Some Skin".

Fabletics sells a wide range of accessories. This includes bags (day bags, gym bags, etc...), hats, scarves/wraps, socks and underwear. They also sell workout specific gear including gloves, water bottles, and ear buds.

Fabletics has free shipping on orders over $49 (7 to 10 days delivery) in the contiguous United States. Orders under $49 will be charged a flat rate of $4.95. Rush delivery costs $18.95 and your order will arrive in 2 to 3 days.

Clothing on Fabletics.com range in price from $9.95 for underwear and bralettes to almost $200 for a full outfit or jacket. VIP sale prices (subscription only) can be discounted by as much as 50% off. This means you will see VIP prices from $7.95 to $99.95.
Fabletics VIP Membership
For a cost of $49.95 a month the Fabletics VIP Membership is a subscription service which sends you new personalized outfits to your account on the 1st of every month. You then must log into your account on Fabletics.com by the 5th and select your favorite style to purchase at up to 50% off regular prices. If you are not ready to purchase an outfit the subscription amount will be charged on the 6th of the month. This accumulated balance can then be used any time when you shop. You can skip the subscription cost for the month by logging in by the 5th and selecting "Skip the Month" in your account.

Returns and Exchanges
If for any reason you are not happy with your order you may return it within 30 days from it being shipped (some special promotions may be final sale only). In the United States and Canada orders can be return for a free credit, exchanged, or for a refund. In Australia orders can only be returned for store credit or refund (no exchanges). Items must be in their original packaging with all tags, intact, and unworn.
Fabletics has made returns and exchanges very simple to do. To return an item all you need to do is log into Fabletics.com and print your free return label and return packing slip which can be found under your account on the "Order History" page. You then need to package your item up including the return slip and attach the label on the front of it and then ship it back to Fabletics.
