Home Chef

Home Chef has been really good. I am still surprised at how much I like it. It's a fun non-stressful way to cook interesting dishes you may normally not think of creating. Having all the food sent in the correct portions makes things easy.

Even my 2 picky kids (in their teens) enjoy most of the dinners. We use to eat out a lot more now we stay at home and cooking dinner has become a family affair. If you eat out a lot with your family you will save money, If you are using Home Chef to replace grocery shopping then you will not. 

I like how all the meals are the same price on Home Chef so you are not thinking of price when you make your selection. Check out their menu on homechef.com and you will see all the upcoming meals. There are lots of pictures and the recipes have step by step instructions along with pictures. The recipe will show you what is in the meal box you will receive, if the meal is glutin-free or vegetarian (or contains nuts, shellfish,etc...) and it lists nutrition information like calories, carbohydrates, fat, protein, and sodium.  The Home Chef recipe also gives you the prep and cook time along with the difficulty level and Spicy level -which makes it kid friendly.
