Behind every Internet Security software is a strong Antivirus solution and with ESET you get NOD32 Antivirus for Windows, Cyber Security for Mac and Mobile Security for Android. All emails and files (from downloads, emails, USB drive, etc.) are automatically scanned and verified free of viruses. If a virus is found then you are notified right away and given several options including deleting, quarantine, or cleaning (if possible) the files. This is refreshing as there is virtual nothing to complain about with ESET products. I have used Nod32 Antivirus for my business and home computers for almost a decade with no problems and no infected viruses. The original reasons I choose ESET still stand today. They offer a lightweight and powerful antivirus solution which does not hog your computer resources. I barely notice when NOD32 is running a full system scan.

For the last 3 years I have also used ESET Smart Security for my Window Laptops at home. Once again I was pleased and have never had a problem. It is a good product and works very well.

After researching ESET Multi-Device Security I will be switching to this suite of software as soon as my 2 year license expires on my other ESET Products. It makes sense since it comes with both NOD32 Antivirus and Smart Security at a cheaper price and I can install it on all of my home computers without buying additional licenses. I also will now protect my Samsung Android phone (along with my wife's) since it includes ESET Mobile Security.

I have used Trend Micro and I have been a Norton user. Years ago I had been an ESET user but had switched for some reason when I got a new pc, I think because it had a free trial version of some other antivirus software. After using ESET again I should have stayed. I haven't had a problem with virus protection from emails or files since I have started using it. It finds spam and phishing emails by using algorithms and patterns and moves them to your Outlook trash. Every now and then I check the trash folder before deleting but I have yet to find a false positive. This is very good software at a decent price.

ESET also is very fast and doesn't slow the computer down, this has been one of my main complaints with the other antivirus software I used, very slow. They also seemed to not find all the virus emails and every now and then I would find an email with a suspicious attachment. This has not happened yet with ESET. Good job!

A great security suite for your PCs and phone, Android only. I purchased the software online which I have done for the last 3 years as it easier and cheaper to do so than purchasing it at your local office store. I have used all the major internet security packages including McAfee and Norton and I have found that Eset has the software which uses the least amount of my pc resources well still being able to offer the best protection when surfing online and with bad emails.

Our family computer was just trashed with viruses. I had Norton on there thinking it would do the job but the kids downloaded something and 5 minutes later we had pop-ups galore and a bunch of spyware installed. I disconnected it from our network and tried for almost 3 hours with the Norton antivirus software to get rid of the viruses. No good. It found 27 different malware, it would clean about 10 of them on the first go around but when I rebooted the computer the ones cleaned where right back on. Re scanning and cleaning would result in the same outcome.

I went on my laptop and did a bit of research. I ended up purchasing Eset Smart Security 2016. I loaded it on my usb stick and transferred it to the PC after uninstalling Norton. It took another 2 hours of scanning, cleaning and multiple reboots but the family computer is now officially clean. Eset actually reported that I had over 32 different viruses. I am definitely leaving Eset on the PC as it cleaned everything so it should catch any stuff my kids downloaded that is compromised, not that they are allowed to download files, but you know kids. 

I am pretty impressed. When my subscription on my laptop for Norton expires I plan on switching to Eset on it as well.

ESET Security for 2016 is a great antivirus and all around protection. If your computer can access the internet then you need a security suite software. If you do not have one then you can probably count the days on your fingers before you will catch a virus. 

My friend got a virus on her work laptop which is a Mac last month. She backed up to iCloud and with Apple's false reputation of no viruses  she thought she was safe. Well she wasn't. Not only do she get a virus that affected her computer to the point where she could not login, her iCloud account was compromised and all her data was wiped. She lost everything. The company she works for even shipped the computer to California to try and recover data and the techs spent 3 days on it with no luck.

Well my computer is a PC and I know not to fool around with malware. I have always had some sort of virus scanner on my PC. 

I use to be a Norton user but when I tried ESET last year I knew I wouldn't be going back to Norton 360. The protection is top notch and the scanner is fast and doesn't seem to slow down my PC like Norton always seemed to do. The firewall seems top notch and I have been warned several times of websites which have been infected with one virus or another.

If you are looking to install a internet security suite then I would recommend ESET. If you don't want to take my suggestion then install at least some sort of protection, even Microsoft's scanner. It's not the best but at least it offers some protection (no email scanner). You will be sorry if you don't!
