They trick you into purchasing a panel of tests, but leave out a crucial one, then hit you for it after the purchase for an additional $95. When you go to cancel then a 20% fee. Scam. This puts them $50 more expensive than other websites
I would highly recommend using STDcheck.com if you want to avoid going to your family doctor for testing. Mom or dad or insurance will never know as well, which was a plus for me. Paid out of pocket online before the visit and records are not shared with insurance or anyone. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND paying the extra fee for expedited results especially if you are extremely worried about your results. I did this and had my results sent to my email around 32 hours after I had left the office, the next business day. I have never heard of anything this fast in my area. The staff was great, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Will definitely be using this service again in the future if needed.
Ordered up on a Wednesday last month and had the test done the following day. I got my results the next Monday (which were clear by the way :-). I didn't get judge by my Doctor for a HIV test which I wanted thanks to a stupid drunk decision.
I am glad STD testing services like these exist as I didn't want to go through my family Doctor who happens to be a family friend of my parents. He would have ordered the same tests anyways and it would have probably cost me the same amount. This way there is zero chance of my family finding
If you need a test done I would recommend STDCheck as I didn't have any problems with them.
I am 43 and I have never been checked for an STD before. I didn't really want to go through my doctor so I decided to give STD Check a try. I did the 10 panel test and skipped the early HIV option since I wasn't concerned about it.
The whole process is very easy and I had been to the lab before for other blood test over the years so I knew where it was and that it was close by. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. It was a little nerve racking waiting the few days for the results but they were emailed and everything was negative.
There is not much that I see they could improve on the whole process. It would be nice if it was a bit cheaper but over all if you are worried about having an STD, $200 is well worth the piece of mind.
