J.K. Rowling, famed author of the Harry Potter book series, made two magical discoveries of her own during a taping of the BBC show “Who Do You Think You Are?” a few years ago.

Rowling’s participation in the show was inspired by her mother, Anne Volant, who died 1990 and was interested in learning about her French roots, although she never had the chance to explore them. Growing up, Rowling’s family celebrated the bravery of Louis Volant, the WWI war hero and Legion d'Honneur recipient she thought was her great-grandfather. The treasured family story was, however, a case of mistaken identity, as “Who Do You Think You Are?” later determined.

On the journey towards diet and fitness success, one of the most important assets any health-hunter can have is a strong support system. Support comes in many guises – from friends to partners to fellow dieters online – and now, with the explosion of smartphones, support comes in the compact, on-the-go form of mobile applications that help you keep track of your goals and the steps you’ll need to take to reach them.

Here are 5 free mobile apps designed to help you achieve fitness and nutrition success:

Going on a diet is easy. Staying on a diet is hard.

A diet program is not for the feint of heart or the easily discouraged. It requires commitment, perseverance, enthusiasm, and a level of willpower that can seem almost supernatural at times. And above all, a diet requires a strong foundation.

“A strong foundation” for a diet is not bricks or concrete – it’s the dedication that comes from motivation, excitement, and resolution. If your head’s not totally in the game, it’s unlikely that you’ll reach your dieting goals. But if you’ve laid the mental groundwork for weight loss success, the dieting world is your oyster (which is great, because oysters are healthy in all kinds of ways).

To the hopeless romantics among us, Kate Middleton’s fairytale marriage to Prince William sounds as though it belongs between the pages of a novel – a Jane Austen novel, to be exact.

Ancestry.com took a look into the new Duchess of Cambridge’s (now known as “Catherine”) family history a few years ago, and found that she, and the world-renowned author Jane Austen, are in fact related. Their common ancestor is a man named Henry Percy, who was the 2nd Earl of Northumberland during the first half of the 15th century. Percy is Austen’s 10th great-grandfather, and Middleton’s 16th great-grandfather, making the two famous women 11th cousins, six times removed.

The annals of the Internet are an endless source of information for dieters. Plenty of it is valuable, but a huge percentage is poorly-researched nonsense with no basis in the realities of weight loss.

So how, in a world in which a simple Google search for “online diet program” returns 142,000,000 results, do you separate the wheat from the chaff? How can you and other dedicated dieters find the online diet program that’s right for you?

It has been a long road and a lot of hard work but we finally feel that Review Chatter is at a point where we can have an official launch. The website layout has been finalized for a while now and we have mainly been busy adding in new content. We now have more than enough detailed listings and Editor reviews available online that will allow our visitors to make informed decisions on products and services found all over the internet. Part of the power of Review Chatter is the ability to compare multiple products along with their large number of attributes to make it easy for our visitors to find the best prices and features.

The one thing we are short on are user reviews. We just need to entice our readers to leave informed reviews on their thoughts and feelings about the products and services they have used. Hopefully this shouldn't be to hard. Laughing
