Weight Watchers and their points program is really good. I have no complaints with it.

My issue is with customer service and trying to contact them. I bought a Fitbit from the weight watchers online store and then decided I would like the Flex 2 model instead. I looked on the website to see how to return the Fitbit and it said you have to call customer service or send email and then they will contact you with instructions.

So I sent email and got an automated response. 5 days pass and I still have not heard anything from customer service so I decide to call the toll free phone number. I was on hold for over 30 minutes and I just gave up in frustration. It seems as soon as you have a problem weight watchers customer service is no where to be found.

I have tried Weight Watchers 2 times. The first time was over a year ago. I really didn't get the points and I barely exercised. The way I approached it, I was doomed to failure. I did end up loosing 9 pounds but after I quit I gained it all back and then some. 

In December I decided to try it again (My present to myself got X-mas). This time around I used the online tools for tracking since I had gotten a much better phone. What a difference it makes in tracking your food. It is sooooo much easier. I also have a Fitbit which I also used to keep track of my activity points. It syncs with WW Online as well. I have lost almost 20 pounds in 2 months and only have 40 more to go. 

I also like how the program teaches you about the value of the different food types. The 27 points I get everyday I treat like money. This means some of my favorite foods are not worth it anymore to spend points on. I also joined a gym and take a fitness class every week day. The way I eat now and exercise has become lifestyle habit. Weight Watchers works for me because you get to learn a healthy lifestyle and make them become habits. Drinking water instead of juice, more vegetables and exercising is all important. 

The great thing is I am more healthy than I have ever been. My blood pressure and cholesterol is down along with my weight and I feel wonderful.

I have been on Weight Watchers for 8 months now and have lost almost 30 pounds.  It really is a change of lifestyle which is hard to do in your thirties with all of the bad habits one develops by now. 

I don't think much about tracking food with Smart Points any more but it was difficult at first as everything is so new. For tracking your fitness (which is also important as it impacts your food intake) I do recommend using a FItbit or some other step tracker. It's much easier to just sych your device every day with the Weight Watchers app than manually having to enter what activities you did.

By about 2 to 3 weeks in I was getting use to everything and started to really like Weight Watchers after getting over the initial hump of learning the points system and figuring out the best way to shop for my new meal plans. I was also over the hunger pains of starting any new diet which helped.

At this point 8 months later I am eating really healthy, I am not as tired and just more upbeat. I found the gradual changes to your lifestyle Weight Watchers offers and the change of attitude towards food the best part since it makes it easier over the long run to stay with the program. I am now hooked!

I have never been excessively over weight but every now and then I gain a bit of weight, usually after the holidays or a stressful period during work. Just this past 6 months I quit smoking and guess what I gained weight, almost 15 lbs. I was the heaviest I had ever been. I decided to go back to weight watchers which I had done 3 times before probably over the last 10 years or so. One rule I made for myself this time around is GO TO THE MEETINGS. I found the last few times if I don't go to the meetings my motivation drops and I slowly stop using the smart points system. 

I am happy to say that it has been over 6 months later since the last time I joined and the change in my body is very noticeable. I have lost almost 30 lbs and I feel and look great. I also started going to the gym 3 months ago while on weight watchers and the extra fitness has helped with the weight loss.

I really do like the Weight Watchers experience. The point system is easy to understand and now when I grocery shop it is second nature what I need to pick out and purchase. I am never hungry and the food I eat is very good. Weight Watchers has an excellent selection of recipes. I don't go to meetings all the time anymore as I have reached my target weight but they certainly helped early on in the first couple of months. Motivation is key because if you don't work at loosing weight you will not. It is also nice to meet new people who have the same struggles you do. The meetings are also helpful to find out how to use the tracker and meal plans on the website at weightwatchers.com. They can be confusing especially to someone who is not as net savvy.

I have tried other diet plans and in the end I have always gone back to Weight Watchers.  It's not perfect and it can be hard some days but in the end it is worth it.

Weight Watchers works because it teaches you new habits. I eat much healthier while on WW and I have sensible meal portions. I know what I am having for dinner each day ahead of time because I plan for it while grocery shopping for the week.

Before, I would come home from work starving and make what ever was in the fridge at the time. My hunger would win out. With the weight watchers program and the motivation to loose weight and have a healthier lifestyle, it will make you kick your bad habits.

It's a win for me :-)
