WW (Weight Watchers)

I really like the new weight watchers smart points program, but I have had a few technical problems with the app.  If you need help, you wait forever until you get the help you need.  

I have been on WW for 5-6 months and have lost almost 15 lb. The new smart points system is designed to decrease the amount of sugar, saturated fats, etc. that everyone consumes. I was really hungry for the first 3 weeks on the program and had thought my total daily points was to low. Once I got over the hump of being hungry everything has improved. Now I just have to get my wife on the Weight Watchers program.

Weight Watchers works as long as you put work into it. I used the iPhone app and it makes it easy for you to track how you spent your daily points. Portion control is a must though and you will be hungry at the beginning of your program.

This is my second go around with Weight Watchers. The last time I tried it I did it by myself 4 years ago and was successful in the beginning  but slowly returned to bad habits. This time around I joined with a friend and this has made all the difference as we can motivate each other to not stray from the Weight Watchers system. We are 6 months in and going strong, and most importantly loosing weight!

I loved Weight Watchers when  they used SmartPoints. I lost over 23 pounds when I was on it. To me it is not just a weight loss program but a way of life.

Then out of no where I have to switch to the new FreeStyle points. It's much harder to loose weight from and I am find I am not eating enough and getting really tired. It's a really bad program and I have lost my motivation.

Who introduces a new program right before the holidays? 

I think your computer system is horrible.  It used to be the people at our meeting signed me up every 2 months for the free digital voucher. Several months ago I was told I needed to do myself.  Then the customer service # would input the access code for me.  Several months ago I was told they couldn't do this anymore.  I have tried to do myself for months to no avail.  The computer is always down and wont work.  I spend hours on this and after calling in they finally can walk me thru it.  This also takes a lot of time.  It is really difficult to understand the English of many of your employees.  You really need to get all of this corrected, it is a real tarnish on your organization.

I see a few complaints online about Weight Watchers billing but I never had an issue because I used PayPal. The great thing with PayPal is that you can control repeat billing/renewals and authorize who you want. That solves the issue of being billed when you thought you have canceled like with a credit card. Once you cancel online at Weightwatchers.com, you then can deauthorize on PayPal.com Weight Watchers from debiting money from your account.
