Well my experience at glassesusa.com went as I hope. Everything was professional. I found the frames I wanted and went ahead and ordered them along with prescription lenses. I received my new glasses in a couple of weeks and found the quality of the frames to be good. I ordered the upgrade for the lenses so my new pair of glasses is a lot lighter than my older pair.

I had no problems with my order and I will order again from them when I need a new pair of glasses. This was the first time I had order glasses online so I wasn't to sure about the whole process. Glad to see I had nothing to worry about.

I read a whole bunch of reviews on a number of different online eyeglass stores. They all had good and bad reviews so that wasn't much help (and here I am adding another one :-)

In the end I picked glassesusa.com and I am glad I did. I originally picked them as they had the cheapest glasses I liked and also fit my face. That was another worry making sure I had the correct measurements so they would fit snug enough but not be uncomfortable. Anyways, the glasses arrived last week and they fit perfectly fine and I love them.

I don't have insurance so I wanted a quality pair of glasses for a good price. I ended up buying them for $89 plus $12 for an extended warranty which covers damage that is caused by me (as I have a bad habit of breaking them). I also choose the cheapest shipping which means I had to wait a bit wearing my old glasses with tape on the frame where I broke them.

My experience has been a good one with glassesusa.com and I will use them again.

Ordering online is great. To get the best prices I recommend buying your glasses during a major holiday sale. I just bought mine when the Labor Day sale was on. They have lots of great frames on sale and I ordered some with lenses for my distance vision. They are perfect and at a total cost of $164 minus the $50 coupon for Labor Day, I checked out with a pair of really good glasses for only $114.

Customer Service is really bad, took two weeks of emailing them back and forth to get a return figured out. Main issue is that the people answering the emails and calls are not authorized to do anything and have to "put in a request" to fix anything. This took multiple people and days for each question. When I finally got a manager involved they issued a return for the wrong order. I reordered with EyeBuyDirect.com and have a much better experience without the games of "coupons" to get the price where it should be anyway. 

I am really liking the frames I picked. With the thinner lenses I ordered they are really light and fit my face and ears perfectly. When I first started to pick out my lenses it took me forever as there where so many styles and colors I liked. After showing my husband my picks we settled on the pair I ordered. 

No problems with the shipping and the cost of the glasses was very reasonable easily beating out Walmart and Costco which I also priced.
